A veteran with over 40 years of sales, marketing, operations, and executive management experience in the lighting industry, Miller was instrumental in the growth of such companies as Metalux as well as USI Lighting/Lighting Corporation of America (which included major brands Columbia Lighting, Prescolite, AAL, Moldcast, Keystone Lighting, Progress Lighting, and Dual Light), where he held successive roles as Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, and ultimately President and COO from 1986-2000. For the next decade, Miller was responsible for running the National Account Division of Cooper Lighting before venturing off in 2010 to launch his own lighting consultancy business with an emphasis on sales and marketing activities and acquisition and merger strategies. General Growth Properties is upgrading its lighting at its Coronado Mall with the LumenOptix LRD
