Kohl’s has selected the LRD to improve the lighting in its stores
Kohl’s Department Stores is consistently recognized as a Sustainability Leader. Kohl’s has selected the LRD to improve the appearance of their stores and the customer experience while significantly reducing energy and maintenance costs. They are using the LRD to replace existing metal halide and fluorescent bulbs.

General Growth Properties is using the LRD to upgrade the lighting at the largest mall in Nebraska
The Westroads Mall is a 1,200,000 square foot retail destination located in Omaha. GGP wanted to improve the customer experience while reducing energy and maintenance costs. They selected the 6” LRD to replace thousands of existing twin CFL fixtures within the common areas of Westroads.
The State University of New York Old Westbury has chosen the LRD to upgrade its lighting
SUNY Old Westbury needed a solution to replace their existing metal halide fixtures that were mounted in high and difficult to access locations. The LRD virtually eliminated ongoing maintenance and provided a significant increase in light quality. SUNY will enjoy substantial energy savings for many years to come.
Simon Properties has chosen the LRD to upgrade the lighting at its Briarwood Mall
Simon wanted to improve the lighting at its almost 1,000,000 square foot property in Ann Arbor, Michigan. LightFair International 2013 was a tremendous success
LumenOptix wishes to thank everyone who visited our booth last week at LightFair. Along with our traditional Fluorescent lines, we showcased our full line of new innovative LED products which include our “LRD Series” (a full line of Downlights), our LED Cylinders, our complete line of LED parking garage fixtures, as well as our revolutionary new product, the “LER.” This fixture was incredibly well received as it converts troffers and parabolics to a specification grade LED fixture within minutes. We continue to expand our product offerings to provide specification grade products for the built environment.

The LumenOptix Sales team is expanding
LumenOptix is pleased to announce the addition of Preston Matthews to our growing Sales Team. Preston will represent LumenOptix in the Western United States and will replace Dennis Picklesimer, who is now Director of our National Accounts program. Preston is a lighting industry veteran having worked at companies such as CEW Lighting and Simkar. We are honored to have Preston on the LumenOptix team.
The LumenOptix Design team is expanding
LumenOptix is pleased to announce the addition of Stan Katz to our growing Design Team. Stan brings with him over 20 years of industry experience in Engineering, Product Development and Management. Stan will assist in bringing to market our growing pipeline of architectural grade, LED retrofit solutions. He has a BS in Environmental Design and Interior Planning from the University of California Berkeley as well as a Master of Industrial Program from the Pratt Institute. We are honored to have Stan on the LumenOptix team.

Citi chooses to replace their existing inefficient lighting with the 8” LumenOptix LRD Retrofit Downlight.
Citigroup wanted to upgrade the quality of their lighting in their Ohio offices while reducing energy consumption and maintenance.
